A cd cover for Bill Knight. The cd is about the West coat of South Africa up to Namibia, It is about the boer and the Nama. He wanted a rough - in your face photograph. The cd is still in the making and will be launched in April - called Dorsland. This is to remind me of Bill while I am away. I am off to Euroshop in Dusseldorf and then to London, for 10 days. We have a hectic shedule so I hope to come back with photos other than retail. Stay well.

Last of the series of photos taken at our folk music venue: Julia Conradi, playing at the Cottage Club. Photo is taken from the balcony about 12 meters away with my 70 to 300 lense.Louis asked about the red lighting.. the spots are the only lights shining on the musician,, red, blue and green ( I think).. but you are right they all have alot of red in them. I am off to Dusseldorf and London.... so a toast to you all .. have a good 2 weeks.

I changed this to a Black and white as recommended by Martin because the woman , which is the main focal point was out of focus. I do agree this works alot better.- see previous one at http://galemc.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Classical_evening_for_Christmas_/

Funky pianist. I love the rings. This is a series taken at our music venue, the Cottage Club. I take most of these using my 75 to 300 lens either from the balcony upstairs or from the adjacent room, obviously using only the light from the stage lamps. Any advice is welcome. I have a hectic week of traveling so i am not going to load any more for now.

Kalk bay harbour, near Cape point. This bay has so much character. Bohemian shops and resturants and a very laid back way of life .These boats catch snoek, cob, yellow tail and crayfish during season. The railway line runs right next to the sea and is one of the best rides to take in the world.
